Frequently asked questions

Which mailboxes can I connect?

Gmail, Google Workspace, Outlook and Microsoft 365. Connect more than one and ask across all of them.

Can I read my mail offline?

Mail and attachments you’ve downloaded are on your Mac and stay readable without a connection. Gesand shows which ones are, and never pretends the rest is.

Does the AI keep my mail?

We request zero data retention for model inference. Processing and operational metadata follow each service's policies. Your mailbox sign-in is stored encrypted.

Does the agent send mail on its own?

No. It drafts. You read the draft and decide whether it goes out.

Can my team read my mail?

No. Each mailbox stays private to the person who connected it, even inside a team.

What happens when I disconnect a mailbox?

Cloud sync stops and deletion of stored mail and mailbox memories starts in the background. Account chats and uploaded chat files are separate.
